With the change of season, it’s time to pull out our agendas and make time for some fun activities! I know for myself, the spring is off to a busy start and I can only hope that it stays consistently busy and maybe some decent weather will officially break! Seriously, it’s April and it’s still snowing!
Beauty products that pack some punch are always appreciated when it comes to condensing a schedule. This month’s Glam Bag has a bunch of multi-purpose products that will help take your look from day to night: A triple moisture body lotion that smells delicious, a matte lip cream that leaves your lips hydrated and a setting powder to keep it all in place.
Here’s what was inside my Ipsy Glam Bag this month:
I’ve had some hesitation with TFB before, testing out some nail polishes that didn’t hold up with daily wear-and-tear. But I’m always optimistic to test out new products, especially highlights.
Immediately, I noticed how difficult is to get the product out of the package. I’m not sure if it’s because it has a small air-hole or what, but I struggled to get even the slightest bit out of the package.
This champagne color is super gorgeous and could easily be built up. It can also double as an eyeshadow. However, this liquid highlight dries down very quickly and is rather difficult to blend out, so unless you’re really looking to blind, work quickily.

I’ve been trying like mad to grow my natural nails out, since a botched trip to the nail salon in December. I’ve finally got them to a decent enough length that they’re not peeling and cracking, meaning it’s time for some self-love Sundays and some at-home manicures!
I love this shade because Girl Boss is a perfect lavender shade for spring. It’s quick drying, the wide brush makes application a breeze and it’s hard not to love a nail polish that’s cruelty-free.

Ipsy might have cured me of my rebellion and regenerated my love for NYX Cosmetics.
This lip cream doesn’t feel like a lipstick but its matte pigment payoff would make you feel otherwise. They’re so creamy, hydrating and build-able. It might not be *totally* smooch-proof, but it does last a long while. Let it dry down long enough and you’ll be fine.
I didn’t think I was going to love the very pinky tones of Milan, but the blue undertones made my teeth look whiter and my smile brighter. It’s a perfect pick-up in time for spring and I could see this becoming a favorite.

However, I might have found a backup plan for when I need a break from the Bum Bum Cream (Not often, but it does sometimes happen!). Not only does this stuff smell incredible and lasts all day, it also leaves my skin feeling SO soft and hydrated, thanks to the aloe vera, coconut oil and shea butter. Unlike some lotions that leave your skin tacky, this dries down quickly and is light to disperse on the skin.
I’ve always been a big fan of Delectable by Cake Beauty, testing out their hand creams, but I just might have become a full-time lover.

It’s been a minute since I’ve used anything banana colored, because for my whole life, I’ve been pinky toned and anything banana colored makes me look washed out or sickly. Your girl got a tan and her confidence is booming.
My makeup stayed in place better and that usual 2 p.m. shine was almost invisible after using this product with the Maybelline’s Super Stay Foundation early in the morning. It made my makeup look more seamless and I liked the finish it gave my skin, which wasn’t too cakey.
I might not become a full time user of banana powder, since I don’t love layering my skin with excess products, but I did like this.
