sephora beauty insider appreciation event haul

⏲ Read time: 3-5 minutes

It’s time to buckle down and stock up on your beauty needs: It’s the Sephora Beauty Insider Appreciation Event!

Since I hit Rouge last year, I was able to access the sale six days prior to its opening for VIB and Insider members. I’ve been behaving and trying not to spend willy-nilly when it comes to makeup, so it seemed that naturally some of the things in my haul were things I was running out of and needed to restock on…

…But also, a lot of the items in my haul were definitely #TreatYoSelf-inspired. This wasn’t a relatively big haul by some standards, and my hauls usually aren’t. I personally like saving up for sale time so I get a lot more bang for my buck.

Here’s what I picked up at the sale:

Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix Setting Spray

I have been a long-time lover of Urban Decay’s All Nighter setting spray and in fact, it was in my cart this time around. Since I know I will always go back to it, I figured it was time to spread my wings, brand out and try something new. Lately, I’ve been living for Make Up For Ever products and I figured that it would be interesting to stay within the same brand for a full foundation routine. I’m not normally someone who things that it makes a difference if you use a brand’s full lineup, but for its price point, it was worth a shot and I’ll be sure to report back on it!

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in Y245

Whenever Sephora sale time comes around, we can just go ahead and plan on seeing this foundation in my cart. It has been my all-time favorite foundation I’ve ever tested and there has been plenty of references on this site on my testimonies for it, so no explanation needed.

OUAI Scalp & Body Scrub

One of my biggest insecurities is my dry and itchy scalp. I use a lot of hair products and with that, my scalp takes a brunt of the fallout and I’m left with those dreaded white flakies on black tees. It’s no secret that I have been obsessed with OUAI lately and I was really excited to try out this new product. I love the fact that it’s a two-for-one (for both your scalp and your skin) and you’re receiving a lot of product for its price tag.

Mount Lai De-Puffing Jade Roller Mini

This was definitely a #TreatYoSelf item that I forgot was even in my cart upon checkout. (Oops!) After discovering some of my favorite bloggers (Julia Engels @ Gal Meets Glam and Emily Schuman @ Cupcakes & Cashmere) use this crafty little tool daily, it’s been on my radar. I don’t normally suffer from puffiness, or maybe it’s something I just don’t realize. Since this doesn’t break the bank, it’s worth trying out and I’ll be sure to report back on the results I see.

Foreo LUNA play plus in Pearl Pink

This was another one of those items that was a #TreatYoSelf indulgence, but within practical reasoning. I have been wanting a Clarisonic cleanser for years, but I’m broke and can’t justify buying one. After testing out the Foreo cleansers, this has been on my radar for something to check out. I’m obsessed with the travel convenience of this little guy and I’m hoping that the vibrations help break up some of those deep blackheads I’ve been suffering with for forever.
