sephora rouge holiday bonus haul

⏲ Read time: 3-5 minutes

With the holidays quickly approaching, it’s time to start thinking about what to get everyone on your list…

Or, you can do what I did and #TreatYoSelf instead!

Being a Rouge member, I had two opportunities to save 20% off my entire order during the Holiday Bonus sale. After dropping over $300 the first time around, I decided to cool my jets and skip the second session. I was really surprised at how many great holiday gift bundles Sephora has packaged together and there truly is something for everyone on your list.

Here’s what I picked up during the Holiday Bonus:

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Carnaval Extravaganza | $59

It wouldn’t be #TreatYoSelfSZN if I didn’t indulge and splurge on some Bum Bum Cream!

Last year, I picked up one of Sol de Janeiro’s gift sets and I loved how much product you got for the price tag. Included in this year’s set are a FULL SIZE Bum Bum Cream (8.1-ounce), a FULL SIZE hand cream (1.7-ounce), a travel shower gel (3-ounce) and a travel Brazilian Crush spray (3.4-ounce) for the just over the price of one full size Bum Bum Cream!

Sol de Janeiro has been one of my favorite brands of all time and something I will always use. All jokes aside, this gift set is already on my wish list to Santa (twice!) so I can stock up.

amika Polished Perfection Mini Straightening Brush | $35

Whenever I’m away on holiday, my hair is the last of my priorities because I hate traveling with hot tools. While on vacation, I want to be out exploring and sightseeing, not fussing around with my hair. It’s also to say I don’t want my hair to look like straight 💩 in any travel photos we take either! Solution: a mini straightening brush!

By no means is this a straightener: In fact, I noticed that my hair looked more like I balled out on a blowout with some volume and body rather than pin-straight hair. I’m sure you could achieve pin-straight hair if you dedicated the time in doing so, but a quick brush through and I want to be out the door.

Looks should be deceiving because this brush is TINY. Like, fit in the palm of my hand tiny! Small but mighty, it gets the job done, but not with out-of-this-world results. You get what you pay for with the mini size, but while traveling, it’s all I could ask for.

I also love the convenient travel case it comes with, so this way, I can now pack all of my haircare things in one area and won’t lose/forget them!

Tory Burch Bel Azur Set | $132

I have been on the market for a ‘big girl’ perfume for a long time, and just when I think I’m ready to pull the trigger on one, I second guess myself. You might recall that I hate sticking myself to one scent, especially for the prices of some perfumes!

Luckily, with the holiday season that equivalents to holiday fragrance bundles where you can pick up a lot of product for a reduced price! Inside this bundle comes with a FULL SIZE Bel Azur perfume (3.4-ounces that normally retails for $128!), a body lotion (3.4-ounces) and a roller ball perfume (0.20-ounces that normally retails for $30!).

I fell in love with this scent here and it’s been on my mind ever since. Every VIB sale time, or every time I think I want to commit to a scent, it’s in my cart or the first thing I browse for. This was a great pickup for the price value (which would have been easily over $180 if you bought everything individually).

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Carnaval Magic | $38

I can’t say that this entire haul was dedicated to myself… Welcome to the first Christmas gift bought this season!

Since I love Sol de Janeiro, I wanted to spread the obsession with someone else and picked up this adorable set. This is the perfect pickup to entice someone’s curiosity with the Bum Bum obsession, for it comes with a purse-size Bum Bum Cream (0.84-ounces), a travel size Bum Bum Cream (2.5-ounce), a purse-size Brazilian Crush spray (1.01-ounce) and a FULL SIZE Brazilian Kiss lip butter (0.21-ounce).

SUNDAY RILEY Good Genes Holiday Kit | $110

I discovered my newfound obsession with Sunday Riley recently and have been wanting to try out more from their lineup. Unfortunately, I didn’t want to drop the small savings fund to pay for it all.

Like the perfume set, holiday bundles are great for stocking up on skincare items too!

For anyone on your list that wants to dabble in high-end skincare, this is the perfect pickup. Included is a FULL SIZE Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment (1-ounce that normally retails for $105!), a deluxe sample of C.E.O. Brightening Serum (0.27-ounce), a deluxe size sample of Ceramic Slip clay cleanser (1-ounce), a deluxe size sample of Tidal Brightening Enzyme Cream (0.27-ounce), and a deluxe size sample of Luna Sleeping Night Oil (0.17-ounce).

I’ve tested and loved everything in this bundle, aside from the Luna Oil, but with my past experiences with Sunday Riley, I’m sure I’ll be a believer in no time. These are great sample sizes for traveling and with our upcoming excursions, you already know they’ll be packed in my suitcase!

Fresh A Rosy Duo | 250 Beauty Insider Points

I like to stock up my Beauty Insider points to splurge on the higher priced items, because I feel as if I get more bang for my buck, or, Beauty Points.

After admittedly professing my love for the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, I saw this duo and immediately wanted to try more of Fresh’s lineup. A lot of my favorite bloggers swear by the Fresh Sugar lip treatments, which was the main reason why I wanted to indulge. I can see why they obsess with it and I already know I want to invest in a full-size once I’m done with it!

As for the rose face cream, I’m on the fence about trying it because we know how I feel about roses, but it wouldn’t be a total waste if I don’t love it, since it didn’t really ‘cost’ me anything.

IT! Cosmetics IT’S YOUR GLOWING ESSENTIALS! | 500 Beauty Insider Points

An introduction to IT! Cosmetics skincare lineup.

I love when Sephora bundles up some of a brand’s top sellers for their Beauty Insiders because it means that we can test them out without risking too much. Included in this bundle are deluxe samples of their Miracle Water, their Secret Sauce, the Bye Bye Undereye Cream and their Bye Bye Makeup makeup remover balm.

All of these samples are travel-friendly, or just enough to entice you to buy the full size. I haven’t tested out a lot of IT! Cosmetics’ skincare, but have heard/seen great results.
