Mojitos, mo’ problems 😎
Summer is right around the corner and if you’re looking for a refreshing cocktail that packs a bold punch of flavor, look no further than a Stormy Mojito!
Take a mojito and a dark & stormy, let them have a baby and you’ve got the Stormy Mojito! I found this recipe on Pinterest, but decided to switch out some items that I had on hand at home.
Here’s what you’ll need for a single-serving Stormy Mojito:
- Ginger Ale – My go-to for summer cocktail mixers has been Canada Dry Bold. It provides more ginger taste, which enhances your cocktails
- Spiced Rum – If you want a more traditional Dark & Stormy taste, then use a Dark Rum. But there’s usually a full stash of Captain Morgan in our home
- Mint – I opted to use DoTERRA peppermint oil, since I didn’t have mint leaves. Just be cautious when using essential oils and make sure they’re able to be ingested!
- Lime – Lime wedges work better, but since I didn’t have fresh limes, I opted for lime juice
